Only the very tastiest music makes it on to the towering Tannoy sound system at Merchants Tavern. This week’s DJ line up looks like this…

On Thursday night, Nick Luscombe returns from his audio odyssey in Japan with the very freshest music around, from folk to funk, electronic soul – as unexpected and original as the music he broadcasts on Late Junction and Flomotion

Friday night sees disco authority Ray Mang take to the turntables at Merchants Tavern with a mix of deeply funky music of all hues with bags of raw soul

Sometimes, there’s a man. On Saturday night, that man is Rob Smoughton, of Black Peaches, Hot Chip and Grovesnor fame. He’ll be playing from his extensive collection of rare Americana, jazzy rock and hairy funk.

Sunday afternoon from 4pm finds Rob Butler from Be With Records behind the turntables once more. Celebrating the reissue of Ned Doheny’s ‘Prone’, he’ll be playing a very Sunday-appropriate mix of soul, jazz, rock and sweet-sounding disco

There’s another week of great music on offer at Merchants Tavern, with a host of DJs playing on our beautiful Tannoy Westminster speakers

On Thursday night Zaf Love Vinyl brings the cream of his outrageous record collection to Merchants Tavern, and we dive headfirst into a world of deep soul, rare disco, boogie, yacht rock and electro jams from the last 40 years

On Friday night, we welcome back our friends Mr Black and Andrea Nibbers, who’ll be digging into their cosmic records bags, playing sleazy disco, Balearic belters and more than a smattering of classic soul

Dan Bean is known as much for his work with Bleep43 as his uncommonly broad record collection, and on Saturday night he’ll be rocking out to reggae, jazz, funk and a few mellow electronic grooves

Shepdog and Mark Moss take to the decks on Sunday afternoon for a very gentle afternoon into evening session. Dub, jazz, reggae, afrobeat and the easier end of hiphop are on the menu from 4pm
