New Years Eve At Merchants Tavern

On New Year’s Eve we’re saying goodbye to 2016 with a five-course set menu from Neil. Join us to feast on dishes including Potted Pork, Rib Eye, Fish Stew and Quince Trifle. Afterwards keep the party going over in the bar where we’re heralding in 2017 with DJs Mr Black, Simon Martin & James Mayall on the decks until 2am.

Sausage rolls, salt cod beignets , pickled beetroot & goats’ curd.

 

Smoked mackerel, red cabbage & apple slaw

Pumpkin risotto, stichelton, walnuts, crispy sage

Potted pork, sourdough, pickles

Cauliflower, raisins, pine nuts

 

Roasted cod, orange, chicory & hazelnut pesto

Partridge, braised treviso, wet polenta & truffles

Rib eye, bearnaise sauce, parmesan & fries for 2 (£10 supplement)

Fish stew, saffron, chili & toasted sourdough

 

Bean to bar Chocolate mousse, pouring cream

Ginger pudding, toffee sauce, vanilla ice cream

Quince trifle, toasted almonds
